The CAA is a national Canadian organization dedicated to helping writers achieve their goals. Whether you are an aspiring or an established writer, the Canadian Authors Association will help you get over your next hurdle.
Our motto is "Writers Helping Writers" and that is what we do. Learning and networking together, the group combines their expertise to help each other. Whether it's through our monthly meetings, our workshops and seminars, or via our virtual online group, there is sure to be something to help you grow and develop in your craft.

Being part of a nation-wide organization gives you the advantage of a local writing group combined with the protection and benefits that only a national association can provide.
To join the Toronto Branch, indicate this in the Branch Affiliation section on the CAA Membership application.
Our Writer/Editor in Residence program is one of the benefits provided to members of the Toronto Branch (and is open to Canadian Authors Association members across Canada).
